Week One Response 2
We all know that the fifth commandment is: Thou shall not kill. With that in mind, tell me what you would be feeling AND what you would do now if you were Johnny at the end of Chapter 4? If I were Johnny, I would be very nervous of what would happen. I would go and tell somebody that I can trust that would help me. I would not go and see Dally because he would tell me to run away so he could protect himself. Praying to God would help me because it would have me worry less. The Holy Spirit could also help me. If I did get busted, I would say what he was doing to us and all the other bad stuff they do to us like jumping us. I don't know what would happen next, but I would hope for the best.
I agree that prayer always helps, but sometimes we have to help ourselves - right? I think they needed a trusted adult who could help them think through the situation. I would never have gone to Dally either. ~Mrs. Best
I would also tells somebody, but not who will tell on me. If I killed someone I would go to Reconsilliation right away. I would try to get as much help as I could to calm me down because that would be very hard to be in Johnn;s position.

Week Two Response 1
Explain what Ponyboy finds out about Randy and the other Socs at the end of Chapter 7.
Ponyboy finds out that the Socs are just normal people. They are the same as the greasers in many ways. They may dress different but, they can still relate. They both have wants and fears. They all do not want to fight and they don't like seeing people die. sometimes they just want to talk and it doesn't matter who they are because they are the same. Yo kev, it's REAGAN MAY. I agree the Socs are normal people and are alike with the greasers. Randy the Soc says that the Socs are just normal, nice guys who occasionally get caught up in bad events. Pony boy also figures out that fighting won' t solve anything. Great paragraph! C ya!
Week Two Response 2
A. When we get to know people better, we usually like them more. If that's true, what could we do if we really don't like someone?
When we do not like someone, we should get to know them more. They may just be shy and want somebody to talk to. We should listen at what they have to say. It may be interesting. If it is not, be polite about it. Say things like cool, and yeah and they will be happy that you are listening. Maybe the person who we don't like doesn't want to talk. In that case, do not talk to them much. Who knows, maybe you would end up best friends with the people you don't like.
